Our Dream For The Future
We envision a future where Angelitos Callejeros is much more than a rescue organization —
it becomes a fully equipped animal shelter, right here in Tulum.
A true sanctuary where rescued dogs and cats receive all the care they need until they find their forever home.
Our dream is to build this shelter as a community space for education, healing, and hope.

Overcoming Challenges, Building Hope
One of the biggest challenges we face is finding loving adoptive families or temporary foster homes for the dogs we rescue.
Many animals need a safe place to recover and thrive before reaching their forever homes, and the demand for foster homes often exceeds the supply.
Another ongoing challenge is securing enough donations to cover the cost of food, medical care, and shelter.
Funding can be unpredictable, which is why we work hard to stay transparent and build trust with our supporters through regular updates and genuine community connection.
Despite these obstacles, we remain committed—
building strong ties with our local community, raising awareness, and forming networks of volunteers willing to open their homes, even if just for a little while.
We also focus on educating the public about adoption and responsible pet care, encouraging more people to get involved.
